Jag skulle behöva råd hur man använder FamilySearch. Har sökt på en finlandssvensk anfader (Carl Wilhelm Melander)som påstås ha dött 1907 i Californien och har hittat några kandidater som skulle kunna vara hans barn. Jag har försökt ladda ner filerna om dessa personer men överföringen "fastnar". Tacksam för råd att komma vidare.

Below is information from the United States Social Security Index in the FamilySearch website. It tells Carl Melander's.S. date of death and that he died in Santa Barbara, California. Santa Barbara is north of Los Angeles. Let me know if I can help.

Hallo Kristine,
I'm very grateful for your help concerning "my relatives". This Carl Melander could be a son of my relative Carl Wilhelm Melander. Is it possible for me here in Sweden to find out more data of the parents of Carl Melander? And if he has children (and grandchildren) still alive. Could you please possibly give me some advice ?
